The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at Fort Dix, New Jersey, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity for the provision of HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SERVICES as set forth in this solicitation/contract. Period of Performance: Date of Award - September 30, 2022 This contract shall be considered a Life Safety contract. Therefore, if the contractor is unable to meet the performance standards of the technical specifications, the Government maintains the right to terminate the contract at their discretion. The Government reserves the right to award without discussion and to make a single award. Therefore, each initial quoted should contain the best terms form a cost or price standpoint. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Services will be delivered to FCI Ft. Dix, 5756 Hartford Street, Joint Base MDL, New Jersey, 08640 SCHEDULE OF PERFORANCE Except for emergency repairs, a normal work schedule is considered 40 hours work week and an 8 hour workday, to exclude weekends and Holidays. The COR and contractor shall coordinate scheduled times and dates to conduct inspections and perform duties. Bureau of Prisons will provide one week notification for scheduled inspections. A written report will be given to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) outlining equipment checked and indicate that the work has been completed within 5 days of inspection completion. DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES: Contractor to furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform Semi--annual and Annual Inspections on pole mounted transformers, pad mounted transformers, transfer cut outs and generators, and emergency repairs in accordance with the attached statement of work for the period of performance. There are 159 poles; 26 pole mounted transformers & transformer cut outs, 32 pad mounted transformers, and generators.
