Beale Street, 1st Floor East P.O. Box 7000 Kingman, Arizona 86402-7000 Mohave County (hereinafter referred to as "the County") is soliciting bid for a general contractor, appropriately licensed in Arizona, to complete the remodeling of the Lake Havasu City Assessor's Office, located at 2001 College Dr, Lake Havasu City, AZ. Completion- (120) calendar days The Project demolition and remodeled construction - 1.1. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for complete and operable office and shop facility in conformity with requirements of all Authorities having jurisdiction as indicated in the Contract Documents. 1.2. All Architectural drawings and specifications, fixture specifications, general, special, and supplementary conditions, shall be considered a part of these specifications. 1.3. Carefully check the documents of other sections to determine the requirements of any related work furnished and/or installed by that section. Provide the proper installation and/or connection. 1.4. Protect materials and equipment from all damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, weather, etc. 1.5. Repair any damage, at no extra cost to the Owner, caused to work of other sections. 1.6. Repair any damaged original construction fireproofing, at no extra cost to the Owner, caused by construction activities. 1.7. Transmit all information required for work being performed by other sections in ample time for the proper installation and connection, and for the provision of all openings required in floors and walls. 1.8. Field drilling and cutting of holes in building structure required for work under this section shall be coordinated through the General Contractor and approved by Owner. Contractor shall bear all costs for such coordination, drilling, cutting, and reinforcing costs. 1.9. Furnish and set all sleeves for the passage of piping /conduit through walls, roof and floors and elsewhere as will be required for the proper protection of each pipe passing through building surfaces. Coordinate this work with the Owner in order to properly expedite and perform this work. 1.10. Provide equipment tags, piping labels and OSHA required warning tags/placarding per codes and authorities having jurisdiction. Remove and/or Relocation of Existing work: 2.1.1. Disconnect, remove or relocate material, equipment, plumbing fixtures, piping and other work noted and required by removal or changes in existing construction. 2.1.2. Where existing pipes, conduits, ducting, piping and/or fixtures that are to remain prevent installation of new work as indicated, relocate, or arrange for relocation, of existing pipes, conduits and/or ducts. 2.1.3. Provide and install new materials, fixtures and equipment as specified and or items required for relocated equipment to result in a finished project. 2.1.4. Throwing breakers or closing valves is not an acceptable method of abandonment. Terminate electrical conductors inside a junction box using wire nuts on each conductor. Plug or cap active piping or ductwork behind or below finish. Do not leave long dead end branches. Cap or plug as close as possible to active line. Remove unused piping, conduit and/or ductwork.
