Site work and paving for a road / highway in Atlanta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All questions are due to Toneya B. Dawson via email at tbdawson@dekalbcountyga.gov on or before 5:00 p.m. EST on February 11, 2022. DeKalb County is seeking qualified bidders to provide all material, equipment, and labor for installation of handrail at Briarcliff Road: 1) Provide and install 548 feet of pipe handrail per GDOT standard detail 9031R as noted on the attached location. No substitutions will be allowed. The railing will end at the steps leading into the mall property. None of the handrail will be on a wall. Galvanized handrails are acceptable. Please note that all vegetation will be cleared prior to installation by mall management. 2) The finish on all handrails shall be powder coat black. Priming and painting the handrail(s) is acceptable. 3) All joints shall be welded (GDOT certified is not required). The handrail is to be installed between the sidewalk and the decorative street light posts. 4) The handrail is to go behind the traffic signal pole. Care is to be taken to avoid damaging underground electrical lines (marked in the field) for the decorative streetlights. 5) Demolish and remove from the site the existing handrail sections in conflict with the new handrail. Removal of all construction debris is included.
