The Contractor shall remove the Well motor, Well pump discharge assembly, column pipe, line shafts and existing draw down airline. Install new, single, non-spliced, 200' of 1/4 '' food grade poly tubing draw down airline. Airline will be attached to the column pipe at the point where the last threaded column pipe joins the impeller bowl assembly; secured at least every ten (10') foot interval utilizing stainless steel banding from this point, upward, to the Well pump discharge assembly in a manner that will not crush or cut the airline and attached to the bottom of the existing air gauge with an industry standard fitting. Re-install all equipment in the reverse order the equipment was removed. Tubing passing thru Well head assembly shall be sealed with an industry standard material compatible for drinking water use. The Contractor shall be responsible for disconnecting all electrical and mechanical connections prior to removal and reconnecting prior to start up. Applicable State and Federal safety standards shall be implemented, to include log out and tag out.The Contractor shall disinfect the Well in accordance with Sections 1 through 4, and Section 5.2 of American Water Works Association (AWWA) STD 654-13.
