Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rockford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The scope of services shall include, but not be limited to, the following requirements: Site demolition and removals. Minor earth work and grading. Excavation of concrete walks and block wall base. Installation of new concrete walks and concrete ramp. New block seat walls. Minimal storm drainage. Conduit sleeves. Site restoration and seeding. Bidder agrees to start on or after October 31, 2022 and will be substantially complete on or before May 5, 2023 with Final completion on or before May 19, 2023. No Bid Bond is required if a bid is less than $500,000. If the bid is withdrawn after the bid opening, the Respondent may be removed from the Bidder's list ("Vendor Registration") pursuant to Kent County Purchasing Central Purchasing and Open Market Procedures for Goods and Services section D.13 Failure to Perform Satisfactory. Each contract over $50,000 must be accompanied by a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each payable to the Owner (County of Kent) and each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the funding agency, for the faithful performance of the contract.
