The Contractor shall provide an on-call, as-needed, or emergency basis all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to repair California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) owned residences seven (7) Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and one (1) ice maker unit, including all plumbing, mechanical, electrical systems and miscellaneous work of facility buildings and infrastructure necessary to complete repairs. The services will be performed at the La Grange Field Office and Habitat Shop. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) invites you to review and respond to this Invitation for Bid (IFB). In submitting your bid, you must comply with the instructions set forth within this IFB. The agreement shall also include semi-annual (twice per year) inspections for preventative maintenance on seven (7) HVAC units and one (1) ice maker unit. All questions concerning this IFB must be submitted directly to Taylor Marsh at Taylor.Marsh@wildlife.ca.gov on or before February 23, 2022. When submitting questions, indicate the IFB number in the subject line. Questions via fax or telephone will not be accepted. Answers provided by anyone other than the IFB contact named above are not binding upon the State. In the opinion of the CDFW, this IFB is complete and without need of explanation; however, if you have questions, please contact by email: Taylor Marsh California Department of Fish and Wildlife P.O. Box 944209 Sacramento, CA 94244-2090 Taylor.Marsh@wildlife.ca.gov. The below required insurance documents will be requested upon award only. The awarded bidder will be required to maintain the following insurance coverage throughout the duration of the agreement and must supply proof of coverage, including endorsements, upon request by CDFW. Insurance must be in accordance with Exhibit D CDFW Additional Provisions which is attached to the sample agreement and will be incorporated into the resulting agreement. The contract term will be from April 1, 2022, or upon CDFW approval date (whichever is later) through March 31, 2025. Current prevailing wage rate information is available through the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) portal. 1. No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a maintenance public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for contracts greater than $15,000.00. 2. No Contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for maintenance public work project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for contracts greater than $15,000.00. 3. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations for maintenance contracts greater than $15,000.00. If an Agreement is not awarded to the low bidder, the low bidder will be notified within five (5) working days prior to the award of the Agreement. The CDFW reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in any bid.
