The College will not be responsible for any other explanation of the documents. Sealed bids may be submitted by mail or in person. Faxed or emailed Bids not accepted. Mailed bids and hand carried bids shall go to the address in item #1. If hand carried, Bids are to be delivered to the attendant at the front desk. Do not leave on counter unattended. Each bidder is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of its bid. Errors or omissions may be grounds for rejection, or may be interpreted in favor of the College. Each bidder is solely responsible for the timely delivery of its bid. Delgado Community College will not be responsible for any delays in the delivery of bids, whether delayed in the mail, or for any reason whatsoever. Only the issue of a purchase order or a signed acceptance of a proposal constitutes acceptance on the part of the College. Assuming there is no prompt payment discount provision, payment will be made within 30 days from receipt of products in satisfactory condition, or within 30 days from receipt of invoice, whichever is later. Proposer or bidder, contractor, etc. certifies, by signing and submitting a proposal for $25,000 or more, that their company, any subcontractors, or principals are not suspended or debarred by the General Services Administration (GSA) in accordance with the requirements in OMB Circular A-133. (A list of parties who have been suspended or debarred can be viewed via the internet This solicitation is to remove, repair and replace damaged metal roofing, flashing and gutters using commercial grade material at Delgado Community College five (5) locations listed below. All work to be performed to normal practices of the trades and manufacturer's specifications of all materials used. Pricing must include all labor, materials, tools and supervision necessary to complete the job. Work to be completed within (90) days from receipt of a purchase order. Work to be performed at the following five (5) locations: Maritime & Industrial Training Facility (Fire School) 13200 Old Gentilly Road New Orleans, LA 70129 Main Building Fabricate and install approx. 80' of exterior wall corner flashing Re-attach existing ACM Panel coping on roof parapet wall Industrial Training Building Re-secure flashing where the awning attaches to the building Fire Tower Remove existing R Panel roof. Install new R Panel roof, flashing, and ridge cap Remove all trash and debris West Bank Campus 2600 General Meyer Avenue New Orleans, LA 70114 LaRocca Hall Remove damage ridge cap Straighten damaged panels. Fabricate and install new ridge cap Student Life Center (Chapel) Make repairs to 2 leaking areas on the lean-to roofs Fabricate and install approx. 20' of coping cap Fabricate and install approx. 10' of ridge Fabricate and install approx. 20' of cap flashing Remove 2 - 60' stand and seam panels and replace Fabricate and install 60' of cap flashing River City Campus 709 Churchill Parkway Avondale, LA 70094 Fabricate and install approx. 10' of gutters (2 story building) Fabricate and install approximately 20' of eave flashing (2 story building) City Park Campus 615 City Park Avenue New Orleans, LA 70119 Building 7 Re-attach one 10' cap flashing Fabricate and install one 10" x 10' cap flashing. Building 8 Fabricate and install approx. 20' of cap flashing Building 9 Install new ridge cap shingles Jefferson Site 5200 BLAIR DR. METAIRIE, LA 70001 Building A Install a piece of soffit (we have piece) approximately 2' x 12' Bidder is solely responsible for all final measurements prior to ordering and installing the materials. Face coverings are required on campus. Any questions arising from the specifications or the pre-bid conference must be addressed in writing to the individual indicated in Section I, General Information, and will be answered via an Addendum. All questions must be submitted no later than Thursday, February 24th, 2022 by 12:00PM CST. A final 48-hour period after the issuance of the Addendum will be granted for questions which are directly related only to the answers provided in the Addendum. Any interpretation, correction or change of the Bidding Documents will be made by addendum. Interpretations, corrections or changes of the Bidding Documents made in any other manner will not be binding, and Bidders shall not rely upon such interpretations, corrections and changes. The Bidder must acknowledge all issued addenda in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to acknowledge addenda will render the bid informal and will cause its rejection.
