Site work for a laboratory facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Conceptual plans call for site work for a laboratory facility.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science has planned a new facility to increase isotope production capacity to meet the emerging market needs. As an initial step to the installation of the facility, The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) will remove the existing trees from the proposed installation site. The scope of this project is to install an entrance drive and remove all tree cover from the area designated in the attached drawing. Preliminary estimates indicate the proposed removal area to be approximately nine (9) acres. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
