Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of the Borough of West Chester, or a Bid Bond in favor of the Borough of West Chester in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.The contract for supplying Aluminum Chloride Hydroxide Sulfate shall be for the period from April 1, 2022, until March 31, 2024. Clarification Deadline: 2/24/2022 4:00 PM. All bids must be submitted on the attached proposal form and show the cost, delivered to the tank, for each one (1) ton of Aluminum Chloride Hydroxide Sulfate .Bids may be held by the Borough of West Chester for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
The Borough of West Chester reserves the right to terminate the contract, under the contract's terms and in writing, within ninety (90) days of such written notice. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. The amount of the bond shall be determined by multiplying the cost per ton, delivered, times two hundred (200) tons.Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of the Borough of West Chester, or a Bid Bond in favor of the Borough of West Chester in the amount of 10% of the bid price. No bid may be withdrawn within twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time of the bid opening or within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
