The County of Shasta, through its Department of Support Services, Purchasing Unit, invites responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide, coordinate, and administer a Day Reporting Center ("Day Reporting Center" or "DRC") for Offenders of the County of Shasta. The DRC program will be a component of the Community Corrections Center ("Community Corrections Center" or "CCC"). The purpose of this RFP is to evaluate the services and providers available for a Day Reporting Center to determine the best and most economic fit for Shasta County. Questions Deadline February 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM The County reserves the right to retain all Proposals that are submitted and to use any ideasin a Proposal regardless of whether a Proposal results in a Contract. All Proposals become the exclusive and sole property of the County. The County will not reimburse Proposal preparation or submission expenses or costs, all of which are the Proposer's sole responsibility. The Community Corrections Center is a one-stop reporting center consisting of multiagency collaboration where offenders are provided with orientation related to their supervision requirements, assessment of their criminogenic and other needs, cognitivebehavioral therapy, and supervision in a coordinated fashion. The agencies include, but are not limited to, General Assistance, housing assistance, mental health and alcohol and drug assessments, access to alternative custody programs and supervised release of pretrial offenders. The Day Reporting Center will be an intensive program next door to the CCC that may include, but not be limited to, assessment of individuals; individual, group and cognitive behavioral interventions; substance abuse assessment and treatment; mental health intervention comprising of diagnosis and treatment modalities including medication management specific to diagnosis; employment and educational services; anger management/control; coping skills; life skills; family and parenting skills; community connections; in-person reporting; alcohol and drug testing; and services and interventions to assist with the development of protective/stabilizing factors.
