A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids addressed to Patricia Torres, CTP, Purchasing Agent, for furnishing all the labor and materials and doing all work in connection with the: Pearsall Road Bridge (MR-11) A cashier's check or bid bond, payable to the order of Bexar County, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the successful bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds on the standard forms provided, as outlined in the specifications and contract documents. Bid securities will be returned to bidders when the contract award is made or bids are rejected. The successful bidder will be required to execute the standard construction contract prepared and supplied by the County. The successful Bidder must execute the formal Contract Agreement and required Bonds on the forms prepared and submitted by the Owner within five days after the Notice of Award. 6. A Performance Bond, in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract, will be required. A Payment Bond in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the payment of all persons supplying labor and furnishing materials, will also be required. Bonds should be made payable to the order of Bexar County.
