Site work and paving for a civil project in Grafton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

The work consists of the removal and replacement of the existing structure with a new 8' x 4' four sided precast concrete box culvert. Precast block wingwalls, pavement replacement and roadside drainage improvements are also included as part of the project. Each proposal shall contain the full name or names of persons and company submitting the proposal and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Dunham Road (TR-6) Culvert No. 0101 Replacement".Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so. All materials and equipment must meet the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation and work performed shall be under the supervision of Lorain County Engineer. All contractors involved with this project will, to an extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code. Any interpretation, correction or modification to the specifications desired shall be in writing to the Lorain County Engineer's Office, 247 Hadaway Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035, and must be received at least four (4) working days prior to the date of bid opening.
