Description: Proposal 1 The base bid includes reconstruction of Wood, Front, and Garfield streets. The work includes installation of approximately 1,300 lineal feet of 8-inch and 6-inch water main (PVC or Ductile Iron), all water main appurtenances, minor storm sewer installation, excavation and replacement of existing dense graded base, 2,600 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter, approximately 800 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement, and all other associated surface restoration. The bid alternate includes reconstruction of two blocks of North Jones Street. The work includes installation of approximately 350 lineal feet of 8-inch and 6-inch water main (PVC or Ductile Iron), all water main appurtenances, minor storm sewer installation, excavation and replacement of existing dense graded base, 1,200 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter, approximately 300 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement, and all other associated surface restoration. Proposal 2 o Alleys o Remove existing pavement along four alleys (approximately 1,100 linear feet) o Install supplemental base course and complete final shaping. o Double chip seal for all alleys o Final surface restoration
Proposal 3 o Chip Seal o Prep and sweep roadways o Single chip seal for approximately 2.00 miles of residential roadways.
