For furnishing the following: Water and Sanitary Sewer Pipe and Fittings Residential Water and Sanitary Sewer Service Components Bids will be received on a unit price basis with extended totals for an estimated total quantity. Bids should not include sales taxes. Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bid Security will be required in the form of a Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid or a certified check payable to the Owner for five percent (5%) of the value of the bid. However, no bidder shall withdraw any bid within fifteen (15) days after the bid opening date. The date for substantial completion will be 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice of Award.
