Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Sparta, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Bids for the above project will be received, on behalf of the Owner, by the Construction Manger Market & Johnson, Inc., at the above location, until the Bid Deadline. All bids must be submitted on the bid form supplied and in accordance to the Work Categories outlined in the specifications. Hand delivered, mailed, faxed or emailed bids will be accepted prior to the bid deadline. Bid results will officially be released after approval by the Sparta Area School District. In general, the project consists of the redevelopment of the current athletic facility including new turf football field, bleachers & press box (Previously Awarded in Bid Pack 1). Currently bid package 2 is being solicited which covers asphalt walking track, site electrical, fencing, retaining wall, associated site work, and landscaping. The Owner is considered a tax-exempt entity, therefore WI. Stat. 77.54(9m) will be utilized on this project. No bid security will be required unless noted specifically under Work Category. The Owner or Construction Manager may contract with the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in any bid and to accept any bid which the Owner may determine to be in its best interest. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of the proposals without consent of the Owner.
