The City of Deltona requests bid for water meters capable of meeting the current and future meter reading needs within our service area. The scope of work involves the purchase of required water meters and retrofit integrated register endpoints (to retrofit existing water meters). The AMI network infrastructure shall be deployed, operated, and maintained on behalf of the utility as a Network-as-a-Service ("NaaS") fixed network reading system. Additionally, the system shall be capable of receiving meter readings while utilizing a handheld reading device and/or a mobile reading unit (collectively "AMR" or "mobile"). During upgrade to Naas Fixed Network meter reading, the System shall still be able to read direct read water meters via manual keyed entry, and meters equipped with R900 RF integrated register endpoints within the same meter reading route without detaching the receptacle or RF meter interface unit or switching modes within the meter reading equipment. All meters must be compatible with the City's current Neptune 360 meter reading system. All System components furnished (meters & registers) shall be produced in a manufacturing facility whose QMS is ISO 9001 certified.
