The City of Compton Public Works Engineering Department is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering consultants to provide various plan check services for the Public Works Engineering Department for three fiscal years 2022 through 2025, with two one-year extension options. The City of Compton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. No guarantee is made hereby that any contract will be awarded pursuant to this Request for Proposals or otherwise.For inquiries, please contact John Strickland, Project Manager at (310) 605-5505. -Professional Plan Check Services will include services such as technical plan check for engineering documents and plans, review of maps and legal descriptions, conformance with Federal, State and local regulations, particularly the California Subdivision Map Act and general compliance with City Standards, Ordinances and Regulations, including the Low Impact Development requirements identified in City of Compton Ordinance 2,252 (including maintaining database Excel spreadsheet for BMPs tracking through the various stages of development). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
