Hillsborough Community College is seeking qualifications from Civil engineering firms with engineering professionals licensed in the State of Florida to provide professional services under continuing services contracts for projects in which construction costs do not exceed the College's threshold for continuing contracts, currently four million dollar ($4,000,000), and for study activity when the fee for such professional service does not exceed the statutory threshold, currently five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), at the College's five (5) campuses, five (5) Special Purpose Centers and other College property located within Hillsborough County, Florida. The term of this contract will be for one (1) year with an option to renew for up to four (4) additional years, one (1) year at a time. Up to four (4) firms may be selected for Civil Engineering Services. Firm(s) may be selected for more than one (1) discipline if the services are all available in-house; if so, a separate contract will be entered into for each discipline. The most qualified firms will be selected to provide professional services for unspecified projects in their selected discipline. Interested firms should consider that the continuing contract does not guarantee award of any specific project.
