Demolition, site work and new construction of a swimming pool in Oskaloosa, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for the construction of a 1,943-square-foot swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
The project consists of new construction for a replacement pool house for the City Pool, including a pool equipment room, public park restrooms, men's and women's changing rooms, and a concessions / lifeguard / ticketing counter office. This project involves: Earthwork, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Masonry, Rough Carpentry, Wood Trusses, Firber cement siding/soffits, Finish Carpentry, Shingle Roofing, Roof Accessories, Gutters and Downspouts, Fiberglass Doors & Windows, Coiling Doors, Drywall Ceilings, Interior and Exterior Painting, Signage, Toilet Accessories, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. This project IS tax exempt and IS NOT prevailing wage. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 (five) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 (sixty) days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
