The bond shall be in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00). A certified check, Cashier's check, or a bank issued Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. Steuben County reserves the right to reject any and all equipment supplied by the contractor, that in its judgement, would result in unsatisfactory performance of the work to be accomplished.
