We are seeking bids for three phases of construction for the Cardiff Pool Change Room Building with the first phase to commence on Monday, April 4, 2022 and the final phase to be completed by Friday, June 10, 2022. Scope of Work - (details in the scope of work are general and do not replace the engineered plans for this project.) Foundation & Floor Plan - A new 26' x 26' Engineered Slab. - 21" well compacted stone base below slab & edge beam on undisturbed soil extends min. 2" beyond perimeter of edge beam. - 3 rows 15M rebar 2" off bottom of footing tied across pre-bent 15M rebar @ 16" O.C. - 6 x 6 x 6/6 wire mesh up 2" from bottom of slab extends to edge of slab lapped and tied. - 6" thick 32MPA (4600PSI) Conc. Slab air entrained 5-8% W/12" x 18" edge beam. - Saw cut 1 1/2 " deep contraction joints centered in both directions as soon as concrete strength will permit. - Provide and install trusses, plywood roof sheathing and all other items mentioned on the plans - Provide and installation of all doors. - 8" block exterior wall - 6" block divider wall between two change rooms - 6" block partition walls by showers and toilet rooms - Provide and install gable end plywood, house wrap and vinyl siding Flooring - Concrete floors to be sealed with a water resistant epoxy blue paint - Interior Painting & Finishing - Install four (4) wall mounted benches, two (2) in each change room. - Install plywood ceiling inside change rooms - Block walls and ceiling to be sealed with epoxy white paint - Supply and install washroom vanity mirrors over sinks Documents are available at: https://www.highlandseast.ca/ tender cancelled (no Bids).
