Site work and paving for a civil project in Monticello, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

This work consists of excavation and installation of precast concrete drainage structures, culvert pipes, concrete, site work, grading, subbase, and paving. This Contract is funded with a CDBG Grant, and M/WBE firms are strongly encouraged to submit bids. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the work site. Proposals shall be submitted on bid forms which are contained in the detailed specifications available at beginning on February 11, 2022. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form. The successful bidder, to whom the contract is awarded, will be required to provide a payment and performance bond equal to the full amount of the Contract. New York State and Federal Prevailing Wage Requirements shall apply to this project. Bids will be received on a lump sum basis. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, religion, sex, or national origin. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, and to reject any or all Bids without explanation. Bids should exclude sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated in the work.
