Allocation of mandates
Mandates will be subject to the provisions of the Act respecting service contracts of public bodies (LCOP), the Regulation respecting certain service contracts of public bodies and the Policy governing contracts for the supply of services and construction work of the PUBLIC BODY.
Those involving expenditure below the public tender threshold will be awarded among the qualified firms, favoring rotation between them as much as possible. However, the PUBLIC BODY reserves the right to use a call for tenders process by invitation restricted to qualified firms when it deems it necessary.
Mandates involving expenditure equal to or greater than the public tender threshold, but less than
$250,000, except in the cases provided for in section 13 of the LCOP, will be the subject of a public call for tenders restricted to qualified firms from this bank of qualified service providers.
For mandates involving expenditures greater than $250,000, with the exception of the cases provided for in section 13 of the LCOP, these will be the subject of a qualitative call for tenders from this bank of qualified service providers.
