Site work for a water / sewer project in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of REPLACING approximately 6,600 linear feet of 3 inch water line with a 6 inch C900 Water Line, REPLACING approximately 3,000 linear feet of 4 inch with 8 inch C900 Water Line for the Carolyn Lane & Vincewood Drive Water Line Upgrade, as well as installing 500 AMR Meters in the distribution system. Engineer's Estimate: $1,625,000 Time allowed for completion is 150 consecutive calendar days. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Jessamine County Water District No. 1 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date bids are opened. Bidders must certify that they do not, and will not, maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed or national origin. Federal law prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, age, handicap, and sex in this project. Minority firms are particularly encouraged to participate.
