The Contract shall be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the sole and complete discretion of such Governing Body. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids. The City of Shawnee, Kansas, Stormwater Management Program is requesting proposals to provide services for video inspection, including pipe cleaning necessary to allow complete inspecting and identification of defects/obstructions for up to 100,000 linear feet of the City's Storm Sewer System. It is anticipated that one or more Contractors will be utilized for this work, at the sole discretion of the City. The Contractor awarded work, or each Contractor awarded work if the City awards work to more than one Contractor will be awarded a contract including a minimum of 20,000 linear feet of pipe for CCTV work. A Contractor may be awarded none, one or more than one contract for video inspection work throughout 2022. At the City's discretion, a Contractor responding to this RFP may be awarded work renewed in single year increments in 2023 and 2024; subject to acceptance of rates by the Contractor and City for work to be contracted in subsequent years. Any addenda issued during the time of bidding shall be covered and included in the bid. There will be no clarifications or exceptions allowed on the Bid. Bids are for a unit price as indicated in the Request for Proposal. Each bid shall be made on a proposal form included with the bid documents. Bids shall be submitted online as indicated on the e-Builder website. An officer of the firm making such proposal shall properly execute all proposal forms. Bids received after the time and date above specified shall not be considered.
