Renovation of a medical facility in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of December 15, 2022, a general contractor was awarded and construction is complete. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Each Contractor shall deposit with his proposal a bond executed by the contractor and a surety company, or a certified check, or cashier's check, payable to The County of DuPage in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal. The successful Contractor shall furnish a Payment & Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum as a security for the faithful performance of this Contract and, a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum as a security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the Project under this Contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. Bid documents may also be obtained via email request to valerie.calvente@dupageco.org. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, here are some process changes to the solicitations for bids and proposals including bid openings: 1)Procurement will accept electronic bid submissions and electronic signatures. The County of DuPage reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive minor irregularities in any bid.
