Site work for a mixed-use development in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The contract will be awarded at a Board Meeting of the Park Board of Commissioners on March 17, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. 2. DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK The scope of work involves furnishing all of the required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for, or appurtenant to, playground installation, concrete work, engineered wood fiber surfacing, drainage, site furniture, as well as landscape restoration at Brighton Oaks, Kamijima and Lapins Parks in accordance with the plans prepared by Upland Design, dated February 16, 2022 and any authorized change orders which have been signed by both parties. Each bid shall also include three (3) references of clients for which similar work was performed, listing the name, address and telephone number of the client, a description of the work, and the construction cost. 4. ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE ACT All contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). 6. REJECTION OF BIDS The Crystal Lake Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities.
