The project will consist of the enclosure of Rabby Creek with a 10'x6' box culvert and the relocation of an existing sanitary sewer line at the Mobile Downtown Airport. Approximate quantities include: 1. Culvert Concrete (Cast In Place)- 1083 CY 2. 12-Inch D.I. Sanitary Sewer- 1364 LF The project shall be completed within 120 Calendar Days of the Issuance of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages for this project shall be $500.00 per Calendar Day. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of (15%) been established for this project. Bids shall include all pages included in Division I Bid Documents. Submission of the entire contract book is not required. No bids will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly qualified with the State of Alabama. In addition, non-residents of the State, if a corporation, shall show evidence of having qualified with the Secretary of State to do business in Alabama. No contract will be awarded unless the contractor holds a current and appropriate license from the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 120 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in the bidding.
