The Contractor will provide the goods and services for the period commencing on May 1, 2022 and terminating on October 31, 2022. The City of Surrey (the "Owner") invites Contractors to provide a quotation on the form attached as Schedule C (the "Quotation") for the supply of the goods (if any) and services described in Schedule A (the "Work"). The description of the Work sets out the minimum requirements of the Owner. A person that submits a Quotation (the "Contractor") should prepare a Quotation that meets the minimum requirements, and may as it may choose, in addition, to also include goods, services or terms that exceed the minimum requirements. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labour, supervision, materials, plant, equipment, layout, survey, permits, and inspections, and related services to video inspect storm sewer mains, and manholes as noted in the Contract Drawings. Furnish certificates confirming work conforms to requirements of Authorities having jurisdiction. The Work generally includes, but not limited to, zoom camera video inspection of storm mains, manhole inspections, provision for traffic control, and other related works. The Work will be undertaken at various locations throughout the City of Surrey as detailed in the attached drawings. The detailed scope of work is as described in the Supplementary Specifications -Project (Schedule B - Appendix 2) and Contract Drawings (Project) (Schedule B - Appendix 3). The lack of and/or omission of detailed specifications does not minimize the acceptable levels of service and only the best commercial practices are acceptable. Contractor to comply with all BC Plumbing Code, BC Fire Marshal, BC Workers' Compensation Board, National Building Code of Canada, BC Boiler Inspector, BC Electrical Inspector, National Fire Protection Association, and any other authorities having local jurisdiction. Failure to abide by these rules and regulations will result in being immediately escorted from the work site. SCOPE OF WORK As part of the scope of Services, the Contractor is to furnish and assume full responsibility for everything required for the orderly progress and proper execution and completion of the Services, whether temporary or permanent and whether or not incorporated into the Services including, but not limited to, materials, equipment, labour, transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, appliances, temporary facilities and utilities, and all other facilities and incidentals. The Services in this agreement involves: The zoom camera inspection of approximately 505,894 lineal meters of Storm Sewer Mainlines ranging from 150 to 3300 mm in diameter. The zoom camera inspection of 296 Flood Boxes on Surrey's river dykes. The video or 3D panorama inspection of approximately 7618 manholes, at various locations within the City as shown on the drawings in Appendix 3.
