Notice is hereby given that the All bids must be time stamped in order to be accepted. Annual bids will be received for the following materials, supplies, and/or services: Class 11 (Bituminous Materials) Class 12 (Hot Asphalt Concrete) Class 13 (Pavement Markings) Bidders shall supply samples as requi red in the specifications. All bids must be in compliance with provisions of Chapter 156, Acts of 1935 and other provisions of the statues covering the purchase of supplies and materials by the Board of Commissioners and their power to contract thereof. No bid will be accepted or considered by the Board of Commissioners differing from the exact specifications by the board. The bidder shall affirm that they're an equal opportunity employer. Each bidde r shall, as a guarantee of good faith, submit a bid bond or certified check, in the amount stated on the specifications, made payable to the Treasurer of LaPorte County. Discounts o r rebates to be allowed on items in any/or all classes shall appear in each price quoted and made a party thereof. Said prices shall include all taxes of every kind and/or character where payable by the county. All bid prices quoted must be firm and net for the year, except as otherwise specified. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the one bid which, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of LaPorte County, Indiana. The Board of Commissioners also reserves the right to re-advertise and rebid.
