Site work and paving for a road / highway in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are requested for ODOT Item 422 (MC-3000) Single Chip & Seal with stipulated Traffic Control on 3.22 miles of roads in Lafayette Township, Medina County, Ohio. The Township will supply the loader and operator for the slag. The Engineer's Estimate for the base bid is $129,590.70. No contract shall be awarded at a price more than ten percent in excess of the Engineer's estimate. All proposals shall be submitted electronically through web service. A Letter of Credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Township. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements detailed in the Bid Documents shall be required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contract compliance with the Equal Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety and detailed in the Bid Documents. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Lafayette Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
