Laurens School District 55 is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to replace flooring in the high school weight room and several adjacent areas. Some demolition work and floor repair work would be included. Project Location: Laurens District high School Construction Cost Range: $94,000-$100,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Laurens School District 55 will replace flooring in the weight room at Laurens District High School and in adjacent locker room, foyer and office areas. Demolition and removal of old flooring is to be included as well as some concrete patchwork. Contractor will remove and properly dispose of, or recycle, all old flooring and/or materials. Applicable certificates of disposal are required. Contractor will install all new flooring in compliance with all applicable codes. Contractor will maintain a clean working environment and notify LCSD55 immediately of any repairs or cleaning required as a result of tear out and installation. LCSD55 will determine if contractor should remedy or if LCSD55 will remedy at contractor expense. Contractor may, if they choose, have a construction waste container located at the site. Start date is to be determined, pending approval of the project by OSF. Project completion target date is 30 days from the start date. This assumes no delays caused by LCSD55 or other issues beyond control of LCSD55 or Contractor. We understand that it may be necessary to extend completion past this timeframe.
