Project A awarded to Mei Demo & Excavation INC. for $60,250. Project B awarded to Trendsetters Investments LLC. for $8,000. Project c was awarded to Trendsetters Investments LLC for $10,200. Project C OW Center was awarded to Dudash Pipeline for $49,888. Schuylkill County Court House, 401 North Second Street, Pottsville, PA and reported at the regularly scheduled commissioners Board meeting at 10:00am with a tentative bid award date of Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Prospective Bidders may bid on any or all projects; however, each project must have a separate bid amount entered on the appropriate line of the bid form. Separate contracts will be awarded for each project. Bidders shall submit an original and two copies of the Bid Form in one sealed envelope and shall clearly indicate on the face of their bid envelope the following The County of Schuylkill will receive sealed bids for the following demolition projects: Project A Girardville - 239, 241 & 241A W. Main Street Project B Girardville - 101 N. Richard Street Project C Shenandoah - 118 N. White Street Project D Shenandoah - 0 W. Center Street (Jefferson School) PLEASE NOTE: No composite bids will be accepted. Each project will be reviewed on an individual basis fee of $10.00 for postage and handling will be charged to bidders wishing to receive documents by mail. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the contract documents. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least ten (10%) per cent of the total amount bid. Such bid bond will be returned to all bidders upon the signing of the contract to the successful bidder. IMPORTANT NOTE: Money orders and personal checks are NOT acceptable forms of bid security; as per the provisions of the County Code. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guaranty. Certified checks shall be made payable to "COUNTY OF SCHUYLKILL"; bid bonds shall name the County of Schuylkill as obligee. Attention is called to the fact that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on ANY SINGLE BID THAT IS IN EXCESS OF $25,000.00. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, ancestry, national origin or handicap; and that the Contractor (and any subcontractors) is obligated to make a diligent effort to achieve these ratios. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation and related matters. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding or to reject any or all items or portions thereof. Bids may be held by the owner for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
