This project will consist of the landscape construction of the center median of Shedd Road, between Giles Street and Estrella Road. Bid Security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid in the form specified in the General Conditions. Notice to Proceed (estimated) April 12, 2022 Project Commences (estimated) April 19, 2022 Number of Construction Days 50 Project Completion (estimated) June 28, 2022 The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informalities and minor irregularities in bids, and to accept the Bid deemed in the opinion of the contracting agency, to be in the best interest of the contracting agency. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled date for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any Bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and the Bidder. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Contracting Agency, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract.
