The City shall have the authority to reject all bids and advertise for new bids The City of Pensacola has established a Minority/Women Business Enterprise Program (MWBE). The MWBE Participation goal for this project is 5%. Bruce Beach Park is located at 601 West Main St, adjacent to S. Clubbs Street and west of Maritime Park along Pensacola Bay. Phase One consists of the construction of a large central plaza with allee trees and cultural/historic educational signage, a shade structure, and two public lawn areas with seatwalls. There is also a learning garden, including a planted garden and play structures and surfacing, a pedestrian bridge and seating at an existing palm grove, all connected with concrete pedestrian pathways. Construction of the approximately 4 acre phase includes site clean-up and preparation, erosion control, grading, construction of features requisite footings and infrastructure, site lighting, stormwater pond and conveyance, utility connections, a bus stop and additional striping, site furnishings, and naturalized landscaping.
