The City of Fort Smith Transit Department is seeking to procure ten (10) passenger shelters with an option for four (4) additional shelters. 5'x 10' overall foot print aluminum structure with a 1 'A inch by 2A inch center brace in each panel at mid point. Shelters shall be a halfcantilever design so that the weight ofthe barrel roofis supported by the ends ofthe shelter. Bidders must submit elevations ofshelter design ofintended bid. Three sides with open front Anodized bronze aluminum finish Perforated aluminum walls with bronze powder coated finish (edges must be sealed with a rubber type gasket to ensure a close and secure fit) Also see attached picture for required size and gauge of aluminum and rubber gasket. Barrel vault roofwith smoke colored translucent UV protected %" structured polycarbonate (roofstructure must be assembled prior to delivery) 2/2" fascia with integral gutter 44"aluminum bench with hand rails for each seating area (benches must be attached) 24" x 36" tamper prooflockable map display case with piano hinge and %" clear acrylic Shelters must be equipped with anchor boots for mounting on dissimilar elevations Shelters must include a trash receptacle to affix to the shelter assembly (approx. 10 gal.) Shelters must include all mounting hardware suitable for mounting on hard surfaces Freight to be included with bid price, but as a separate line item.
