This project consists of the excavation of a flood attenuation pool upstream of an antiquated flood protection structure to reclassify the structure as non-jurisdictional and substantially reduce the risk to downstream residents and infrastructure. The Project includes the following major items and approximate quantities: Stockpile and redistribute 18,289 cubic yards of topsoil Excavate and redistribute 126,495 cubic yards of embankment Installation of 122 linear feet of 12'' Rock Check Dam Installation of 75 linear feet of 24" high by 24" wide Reinforced Rock Check Dam Prior to submitting a Bid Proposal, Bidders shall have received prequalification status (active status) with the Colorado Department of Transportation to bid on individual projects of the size and kind of work as set forth herein.
