No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project. All bids must be accompanied by a certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. All requests for clarification and/or interpretation by Bidders must be submitted in writing to Karl & Associates by 10:00 am on Monday February 21, 2022. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements, and who can demonstrate to the District the ability to perform all work as specified within the project dates as specified. Due to the current COVID situation, all bidders are required to wear masks and observe a 6-foot social distance from bidders and other occupants while on any school property, including pre-bid meetings, the submission of bids to the Business Office and attendance of public bid openings. The Pre-bid meeting will be held for the purpose of reviewing the work and considering questions by the Bidders. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond, drawn to the order of Hamilton Township Board of Education in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days from the opening of the bids. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Hamilton Township Board of Education. The Hamilton Township Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Board of Education.
