Brandon University seeks to employ Construction Management Services to carry out renovations and upgrades to 5400 sq.ft. on the 6th floor of the Rice Bldg, 491 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Mb. to meet the demands of the expanded Nursing Program. This will include renovations to accommodate a classroom for 65 students, a minimum 10 bed nursing lab, minimum 10 offices, a Boardroom, Interview Room, Staff Lunch Room, Student Lounge and Reception area and copy and file area. This will also include Mechanical Work to modify existing HVAC system in ceiling space including supplemental ventilation to meet current building code, and to modify existing plumbing and sprinkler systems to suit the new tenant space floor plan. Electrical work will include connection to existing building automation, electrical, door access systems, cable and data connections, and emergency systems. Scope of Services and important dates are included in the attached RFP documentation. This project will commence no later than April 1, 2022 and work must be completed and ready for occupancy by August 26, 2022.
