The Town of Wells Maine is requesting the services of a Land Surveying firm to produce a consolidated boundary survey plan and boundary corner monumentation of the Fenderson Wildlife Commons to include the following: Perform deed and plan research Locate existing boundary monumentation as needed to establish coordinates for all existing property corners and corners to be set Produce a plan of the Town owned land and associated access easements (paper and digital) (See GIS plot - Locus) The plan is to be orientated to state plane coordinates for all points and point coordinates to be provided Installation of new monuments at the exterior limits of the Town boundaries and access easements. (See GIS plot - Monumentation) Location of marked conservation trails and trail heads Proposals to be reviewed by the Wells Conservation Commission and Board of Selectmen and authorization to award the contract by July 20, 2022. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all submittals for any reasons, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, to proceed or not to proceed with any subsequent proposal process, or to negotiate without further process any contract as may be in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to undertake such investigation as it deems necessary to evaluate the qualifications of the Consultant and to evaluate its submittal. All information, data, documents, photos, computer records, and other materials of any kind acquired or developed by the consultant pursuant to this project shall be made available to the Town of Wells. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
