The Project includes the following Work: Fully blasting and re-painting the interior and power washing with spot primer and re-painting the exterior of the North Tower, as well as performing specified tank modifications. Official planholders list will only be the list maintained by Tri-State Area Contractors Association. It is the sole responsibility of all planholders, whether they have received digital downloads or paper copies of the plans and specifications, to return to planroom periodically to check for Addenda which may have been posted. Neither the Owner nor Engineers has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness or sufficiency of any bid documents obtained from any source other than the source indicated in these documents. Obtaining these documents from any other source(s) may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Obtaining these documentsfrom any source otherthan directly from the source listed herein may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to these documents that may be issued. There is no pre-bid conference for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to the City of Pittsburg, Kansas as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The City of Pittsburg, KS reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bids are open. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
