Bids can be submitted at the Nescopeck Township Municipal Building, 429 Berwick/Hazleton Highway, Nescopeck, PA 18635 between the hours of 9:30 A.M. and 2:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday. Briefly, BIDS are invited for the REPLACEMENT OF CROSS-PIPES ALONG WEST HOLLOW ROAD that will include approximately 15 locations of replacement with approximately 350 lineal feet of 15" SLCPP and miscellaneous work. BID SECURITY in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required by the successful bidder for each contract. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any contractor, who does not do so and submits a bid, does so at his own risk. This Project was financed in-part by a grant established under the American Rescue Plan Act for COVID-19 ARPA Local Fiscal Recovery Fund for Non-Entitlement Units (NEUs) that was disbursed by the PA Treasury Department through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development and all requirements of these Agencies are to be met by the Bidders. The bidder's attention is called to the fact that the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification Act apply to this Contract if the estimated cost of the project is in excess of $25,000.
