Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Durgin 213 Recording Studio Air Conditioner Replacement. The Durgin 213 project shall replace the aging package AC unit for the recording studio with a similar but higher capacity unit. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. The Project consists of: Removing an existing indoor ducted air conditioner unit and related appurtenances and replacing it with a new in kind unit. The new unit will connect to existing louvers and existing supply and return ductwork. The unit will be equipped with a built in humidifier and condensate pump which will be connected to the existing cold water and condensate drain located in the room. BMS interface and controls are provided by the Owner and not part of this contract. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $ 40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), nonrefundable, payable to the BidDocs ONLINE Inc., to cover mail handling costs.
