Renovation of a water / sewer project in Keshena, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This bid posting is to secure a professional engineering firm (licensed in State of Wisconsin) to review existing wastewater treatment facility (WWTF), collect field data, complete preliminary design, present proposed design to Tribe and IHS, complete final design, assist Tribe with bidding, manage construction of improvements (including resident project representative), complete final/punchlist/start-up inspections, provide record drawings and operation/maintenance manual, and warranty inspection. It is proposed to complete the design and place out for construction bids in Summer 2022. Construction is anticipated to be finished in 2023 due to lead times on equipment improvements. The proposed improvements to be designed/constructed include: 1. Replacing of a fine screen system in the WWTF headworks building 2. Install a grit removal system into the WWTF process. 3. Replacing an undersized septage receiving tank pump. 4. Draining and cleaning of the two (2) existing oxidation ditches. 5. Integration of the new equipment into the Owner's existing SCADA network. No pre-bid meeting will be held. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
