No. 2-PVC Sanitary Force Main from LS to Lagoon: Construction of on grade sanitary wastewater pipelines consisting of furnishing and installing the following approximate quantities: 40 feet of 8-inch DR 13.5 DIPS Poly pipeline, 850 feet of 10-inch C900 DR 25 PVC pipeline, and 6,025 feet of 12-inch C900 DR 25 PVC pipeline, 400 feet of 10-inch DR 13.5 DIPS poly directional bores, 450 feet of 12-inch DR13.5 DIPS poly directional bores, one (1) 10-inch poly 45-degree bend, two (4) 12-inch poly 45-degree bend, five (5) tie-ins to existing system, five (5) 10-inch gate valves, two (2) 12-inch gate valves, one (1) state highway cased bore, two (2) 12-inch air release valve (ARV) with manhole, and all associated fittings and appurtenances, restoration, flushing and testing, signage, seeding, and gravel. Contracts shall be awarded on the basis of the low Bid submitted by a responsible and responsive Bidder deemed most favorable to the Owner's interest. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
