BIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BID GUARANTEE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: In an amount equivalent to a percentage of the price of the tender and according to the form determined below: A bid bond issued by a financial institution and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of the bids; Where A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price; Where An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, credit union or trust or savings company and conforming to the provisions of the Project Manager's "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" form in the amount of five percent ( 5%) of the bid price. A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of inadmissibility also apply to the tenderer's subcontractors.
