Reference number: 1572343 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-03-07 Submission sent electronically accepted: No Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 18 Project title: Demolition and replacement of chillers including two (2) condenser units - Radio-Oncology Pavilion of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital (HRAO-19-83) Institution: CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal Facility targeted by the work: Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Completion time of the work: Eighteen (18) months The Project Manager, CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal , having its head office at 5415, boulevard de l'Assomption, Montreal, QC H1T 2M4, is requesting tenders for the construction work of the project mentioned in title. BIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BID GUARANTEE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: In an amount equivalent to a percentage of the price of the tender and according to the form determined below: A bid bond issued by a financial institution and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of the bids; Where A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price; Where An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, credit union or trust or savings company and conforming to the provisions of the Project Manager's "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" form in the amount of five percent ( 5%) of the bid price. A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of inadmissibility also apply to the tenderer's subcontractors. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. Information request : Tenderers who wish to receive information or clarifications regarding the call for tenders must do so in writing less than three (3) working days before the deadline set for the receipt of tenders . All bidders, contractors and sub-contractors will be considered to have visited the premises and no claim for lack of knowledge of the premises can be submitted or accepted. In addition, the Project Manager assumes no responsibility vis-à-vis the bidders who will not be presented at the site visit with respect to the information that may have been given during the latter. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, only one (1) person per company will be accepted. If you are symptomatic, please do not attend. Once there, we ask that you respect all social distancing instructions and protect yourself with a mask, visor or other. (THE PUBLIC BODY will not provide any means of protection, it is the responsibility of each Bidder to provide their own means of protection). The Project Manager does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received . Performance bond and obligation bond for wages, materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
