Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Delphi, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Base Bid: Construction of an approximately 1,360 lineal feet long by 8-ft wide multi-use asphalt trail along the centerline of the former Monon Railroad corridor between the access to Miller Park at Old Camden Road (on the west) and the existing paved terminus of the trail at Bison Plaza Parking lot trailhead (on the east). The project also includes trailhead access improvements to Miller Park consisting of constructing a gravel drive and parking lot off Old Camden Road. Alternate 1: Full-depth asphalt pavement of parking lot and entrance drive of Miller Park parking lot (approximately 1,600 sq yds). The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A Bid Security in the form of EJCDC Document C-430 (Bid Bond), or a certified check, or bank money order, shall accompany each Bid. The Bid Security shall be in the penal amount of 5 percent of the total Bid and made payable to the City of Delphi. Bid Security shall be forfeited if Bid is withdrawn after closing time on date for receiving bids. Contractor awarded work will be required to furnish a satisfactory Warranty Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond from an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 100 percent of the full contract sum. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and/or errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.
