The City of Garland, Garland Power and Light is soliciting proposals for the dewatering and rewatering, unit inspection and wicket gates repair of its Lewisville Hydro Power Plant. The main goal of this project is to troubleshoot/repair the wicket gates and inspect the Hydro Turbine System so that it can be safely placed back into operation. The main components of this project are to dewater the hydro and perform an inspection to diagnose and correct wicket gates issues, rewatering and commissioning support of unit so that it can be safely placed back into operation. The Contractor shall provide an intended schedule of sufficient detail for the GP&L designee to evaluate key milestones, to include the contractors first available start date for the project. Our goal is to complete this work by May 1, 2022. The deadline for submitting questions on this bid is February 28, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required with your bid response. A Payment and Performance Bond will be required upon notification of award.
