RFP 14353 is being issued by BC Hydro to obtain proposals from parties with the ability to Supply and Delivery of Sodium Dispersion on an "as and when required only basis" to the Delivery Point(s). The Sodium Dispersion to be used in the process to decontaminate Polychlorinated Biphenyls ("PCB'S) in transformer oil through BC Hydro's decontamination plant. It is intended that any Contracts awarded will be for a three (3) year term with an option for up to three (3) additional years in a single renewal or multiple renewals at BC Hydro's discretion. BC Hydro shall be entitled to place product orders, or otherwise procure products, under the Contract(s) on an 'if and as needed' basis at any time from time to time during the term. Please refer to Part 3 Contract for additional Contract details. Execution of a Contract(s) with BC Hydro pursuant to this RFPis not a guarantee that any volume of products, frequency or value of products will be issued to the supplier. Contract(s) will also not be exclusive, and BC Hydro reserves the right to procure same or similar services/products from third parties at its sole discretion under contracts awarded outside of this RFP process. Without limitation, such third parties may include parties who have submitted Proposals in response to this RFP. It is Proponent's or Potential Proponent's responsibility to ensure that it has received all Addenda, Question and Answer Series, and other notices relating to this RFP. This RFP applies to and governs the preparation of Proposals in response to this RFP. These Instructions apply to and govern the preparation of proponents in response to these Instructions.
